Custom software, built by a person, not a platform

Software that fits the way your business actually runs.

I build quote calculators, dispatch dashboards, scheduling consoles, and lead pipelines for service businesses. No subscriptions. No 200-feature menus. Just the tool you actually need, made for you.

One builder. No account managers, no offshore handoffs.
Fixed price. Quoted before we start, paid when it works.
You own the code. Hosted on your account. No lock-in.

What I build

Four tools that quietly run a service business.

Real screenshots from real builds. Every business gets a version shaped to its own pricing, crews, and customers — not a template with your logo dropped in.

Quote calculators

Your pricing logic — square footage, add-ons, recurring discounts, travel zones — baked into a page anyone on your team can use. Send a quote from the truck in under a minute.

Dispatch dashboards

One screen for the whole day. Who's where, who's running late, what's unassigned. Crews update their own status from a phone — you stop being the human group-text relay.

Scheduling consoles

Customers book themselves into slots that respect your crew capacity, travel time, and the jobs you don't take on Tuesdays. Holds for quotes, deposits, deposits-only-after-3pm — whatever your rules are.

Lead pipelines

Every form, call, and referral lands in one place. You see who's hot, who's gone cold, and exactly which lead has been sitting unanswered for two days while your competitor closes it.

The math

What does slow follow-up cost you?

Leads that wait more than five minutes for a reply convert about 80% less. Adjust the numbers below to your business. The math is honest — same formula, no inflated assumptions.

Form fills, phone calls, referrals — every inbound.
A typical first-job ticket. Lifetime is bigger; we keep it simple.
Of the leads you actually reply to.
Be honest with this one. Most owners are surprised.

Assumes slow-response leads convert 80% less than fast-response leads — the conservative end of the InsideSales / Lead Response Management studies. Your real number is probably worse.

How it works

Four weeks, four steps, one fixed price.

No discovery decks. No statement-of-work theatre. We get on a call, I watch how you actually quote, schedule, and follow up, then I build it.

01 — Week 1

Watch you work

A one-hour screen share. You quote a real job, dispatch a real crew, follow up on a real lead. I take notes.

02 — Week 1

Mockup & quote

I send a clickable mockup and a fixed price. If it's not right, you owe me nothing. If it is, we start.

03 — Weeks 2–3

Build & share

I share progress every 2–3 days. You use it as it's built. We change what doesn't feel right.

04 — Week 4

Launch & train

One live training session, recorded for your team. 30 days of free tweaks. Then it's yours.

Who I work with

Built for service businesses that don't fit the SaaS box.

If your business has its own rules — seasonal pricing, dispatch geography, recurring contracts, on-site quoting — a template won't catch them. These are the rooms I've been in.

We had three different apps trying to do what one of Sara's tools now does. The quote-to-deposit time on a $1,800 roof repair went from two days to under an hour. The thing that surprised me most: it just looks like our business. It's not someone else's product with our name on it.

A free custom mockup. No strings.

Tell me what you do and the one thing that bugs you most about how you work today. Within 3 business days, I'll send back a real, clickable mockup of what a fix could look like.

  • A clickable prototype, not a sales deck
  • Built on what you actually do, not a template
  • Yours to keep — even if you don't hire me
  • No call required. Reply by email if you want one.
I read every submission myself. Usually replies within a day, mockup within 3 business days. Your info isn't sold, shared, or fed to anything.

Plainly

Honest answers to the questions owners actually ask.

How is this different from Jobber, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan?

Those are good products if your business fits the way they think. They're built for the average. If your pricing has a quirk, your dispatch has a rule, or your follow-up has a step their software doesn't know about, you end up working around it forever. I build for the quirks.

What does it cost?

Most builds land between $4,800 and $14,000, paid 50% on start and 50% on launch. The fixed price is quoted before we start, after the free mockup, so you'll know the number before you commit a dollar. No monthly seat fees from me — you pay your own hosting, which is usually $20–$60/month total.

What if I don't know exactly what I need?

That's normal and that's why the mockup is free. Most owners describe the pain ("quotes take forever," "I miss leads on weekends"). I turn that into a concrete proposal. You react to something real instead of guessing in the abstract.

Do I own the code?

Yes. It lives in your hosting account under your domain. If we ever part ways, you keep everything — the code, the data, the design. No platform lock-in, no "exporting to CSV and praying."

What if it breaks at 7 a.m. on a Saturday?

Text me. For the first 30 days, fixes are free and fast. After that, I offer a maintenance retainer ($150–$400/month depending on size), or you can just call me when something needs attention and pay by the hour. Most builds need a few hours a quarter, not a monthly support team.

Why no monthly subscription?

Because you've been burned by subscriptions and so have I. I'd rather earn one fair fee, build something you own, and have you come back for the next thing because you want to — not because you're locked in.

Are you actually one person?

Yes. You'll work with me from the first email to the launch call. No account managers, no offshore handoffs, no "let me check with my team." If the project is too big for one builder, I'll tell you up front and recommend someone honest.
